Here's an example of a different sort: CAEmitterLayer and friends are now available in iOS 5, but have no iOS documentation - the only documentation is over on the Mac OS X side. This means that an iOS developer who has not downloaded the Mac documentation, or who has it switched off for searching, won't find any info at all. This seems to be the situation at Apple's site too. m.
