There is in fact a copy of the Core Image Programming Guide in the iOS doc set, but a search on "CIFilter" doesn't find it - unless I turn on Mac OS X as a searchable doc set, in which case it shows both the Mac OS X copy and the iOS copy. This makes the docs pretty hard to use for Core Image. On the Web, searches work and all the right links work. m.
