That selector is just one of multiple different selectors, depending on time and config - which is the base why I assert a dangling weak ref...
And toying with the SCM configuration didn't fix anything. The crash happens across two different machines with different SCM configs, and two projects that were forked many project modifications a year ago from an common ancestor, anyway.
