We're going to be selling one of our products in the Mac App Store. We've previously installed our Spotlight and QuickLook plugins into /Library/[Spotlight|QuickLook], but for this product would find it easier to package them into the app bundle. I've added the QuickLook project to the app project and added a Copy Files build phase to get it into the right place. But when I go to drag the Spotlight project into the app project, it never shows drop insertion location. If I instead try to use the Add to Project menu item, I can select the Spotlight project and Add is enabled, but clicking Add does nothing; the dlog doesn't even dismiss.
What could be wrong here? Xcode 3.2.3. All projects are .xcodeproj packages and use the Xcode 3.2-compatible project format.
As an aside, what happens if someone has the same plugin installed in multiple locations; /Library and in the app bundle? Which will QuickLook and Spotlight use? Our customers commonly have multiple versions of our apps installed on their machines.
