We've previously installed our Spotlight and QuickLook plugins into /Library/[Spotlight|QuickLook], but for this product would find it easier to package them into the app bundle. I've added the QuickLook project to the app project and added a Copy Files build phase to get it into the right place.
So, you have successfully added the QL project to the app Project using Add to Project?

If the Ql project has been aded to the app It should just be a case of dragging the build product of the QL project to the copy files stage in the app project.
