In Finder, do Show Package Contents on YourProject.xcodeproj and you should see some combination of YourUserName.mode1v3, YourUserName.mode1v3, and YourUserName.pbxuser. I would save these files somewhere and include them when you submit the bug report.

It does. Apple doesn't fix anything unless a critical mass of complaint is achieved. It is your citizen duty to participate. :) You will probably be duplicating my bug 7990017, which is still open. When I submitted it along with the actual project that was giving me trouble, the Apple engineers actually gave me this workaround ("Move aside your .xcodeproj/<username>* files, which seem to be corrupted"), and this did fix the problem, but of course the *real* problem is that this corruption can occur. m.
