When I submitted it along with the actual project that was giving me trouble, the Apple engineers actually gave me this workaround ("Move aside your .xcodeproj/<username>* files, which seem to be corrupted"), and this did fix the problem, but of course the *real* problem is that this corruption can occur. m.
And another vote for raising such issues by filing duplicates:
I did NOT receive the feedback and two of my projects constantly crash unless I open them with the older iOS GM seed Xcode revision, and so they probably do for everyone who even does not bother to file an bug report,
BTW; nuking my personal project settings for both of my projects also cured the crashes.
