Changing the product name of an existing target does not also change (automatically) the product name displayed in the Products group in the Project Navigator. Furthermore, it does not change a scheme's executable name which is associated to this target's product. And finally, the list of products available in the popup when associating a scheme's executable does also not contain the new product name, but still contains the old one.
This happens "naturally" when copying an existing target and changing its name and product name to something more suitable.
I haven't figured out a way how to re-associate the scheme's executable and the products in the Products group in order to fix this.
Creating a new scheme does not work either: the new executable isn't listed in the list from where I can set the executable. But the old one, e.g. "MyApp copy" is still there, despite the fact that there is no target that will create a product with such a name.
It seems however, that the actual executable file is correctly associated - just the **display name** of that file isn't correct - it sticks to the old one. I haven't found a way to change the name or to re-associate the product to the correct file in order to force to change the display name accordingly.
How can I achieve to copy a target, and then change its name and product name and get a scheme properly setup?
Thanks for a solution.
