This is probably OT, but who knows. ;)
I recently updated to Lion and installed Xcode 4.1 from App Store.
Now, I'm periodically getting an authorization dialog from the system saying:
"Attempting to install 'Mac OS X 10.7 Core Library' for the first time. Type an administrator's name and password to allow this."
Did confirm this several times now, and it still comes up every hour or so.
It might be worth mentioning, that I did have trouble installing Xcode: the installer insisted on shutting down iTunes in a modal dialog, but iTunes was not open at all. So, I had to force quite the installer. The next installation attempt failed to the point Xcode launched automatically and then remained unresponsive with a deactivated menu and deactivated open dialog.
The next installation attempt was apparently successful - and I was able to compile and link a project. But I'm a bit worried, that there went something wrong during installation of Lion or Xcode 4.1.
Any thoughts?
