Hello,
My system has the latest Snow Leopard.
I tried to open the Xcode 3.2.6 dmg file from Apple on the system, but it couldn't be opened and mounted.
However the same file could be opened on Mac OS X 10.6.8 system on which Xcode 4 was never installed.
I removed Xcode 4 from my machine, and tried to install Xcode 3.2.6, but still it could't open the dmg file.
The error message is "Input/Output Error"
Why does this happen? Can you share how to solve this problem?
