Hello, all ...
While Xcode4 is good in many ways, I personally much prefer a multi-window approach to development. Tabs are fine for browsers, but I often work on multiple monitors, so I find it much easier to have multiple windows, each with a different source, open at once. I've got my project in Xcode4 setup that way by only using the "main" window for the navigator and console output, and opening files in separate windows (with all other info i.e. the navigator / console / everything-but-source switched off).
This works -- well, sorta, but if I inadvertently press Run on a window with a source file (i.e. not the "main" window), it all goes pear-shaped. My source is replaced by the output / console and I end up having to close the window only to open it again and hide all of the stuff I don't want (navigator, output, etc). Is there a way I can tell Xcode4 to hide the window header (the part of the window with the Run / Stop / Scheme / etc. stuff) for windows that aren't my "main" window? That would be _quite_ nice :-)
Regards,
John
