Pleas am having problems with XCode. Anytime I try to open the xib file for iPhone development, XCode crashes displaying an assertion error. This discussion(https://discussions.apple.com/message/15328186#15328186) would explain better.

When you ask for help, it’s always good to post the exact error message you’re getting. What you posted on the discussion board started with:

ASSERTION FAILURE in /SourceCache/IDEInterfaceBuilderCocoaTouch/IDEInterfaceBuilderCocoaTouch-301/IB Plugin/Utilities/IBObjectMarshalling.m:136
Details: Interface Builder encountered an error communicating with the iOS Simulator. "Interface Builder Cocoa Touch Tool" (29267) failed to launch and exited with status (null), signal 5. Please check Console.app for crash reports for "Interface Builder Cocoa Touch Tool" for further information.
Function: NSDistantObject<IBCocoaTouchToolProtocol> *IBAttachToCocoaTouchTool(IBCocoaTouchTargetRuntime *)

Note the bolded text. Did you "check Console.app for crash reports for 'Interface Builder Cocoa Touch Tool' for further information”? What did the crash report say? Please include the crash report in your reply.
