This does not look like a bug to me. Just, as the warning says, an incompatibility between different versions of the dev tools. It is indeed correct that Interface Builder in lXcode 3.x does not support a setting for centering the window.

Quite to the contrary, it could be considered a bug if you did NOT get a warning. I must say though that when you make the edits it is not clear at all that this warning is there, you have to look for it very hard, and I think that could be considered a bug.
