What really upsets me is that there is no word about this anywhere. I just re-read the "About Xcode and iOS SDK" for the 3.2.6 package. There is not a single mention *anywhere* that the PPC support has been dropped.
I'd really like to know who is in charge of the developer tools at Apple. This is certainly not a professional way to let us high and dry. If there are any good explanation for this decision, behind our backs, I'd be eager to hear it.
