No 32 bit scheme generated

In Xcode 4 quite often some automatically generated schemes are missing from the popup. In particular, some 32 bit schemes are missing. The project declares "ppc i386 x68_64" for ARCHS, and sometimes all expected schemes are present, but sometimes some are missing. What can be going wrong? Do others see this problem?
