Well, it's still "one window," in the sense that Xcode may let you have more than one of them, but they are essentially independent of their content. It's one type of multi-purpose window, and it really only lends itself to doing everything in that window, and it certainly does NOT constrain what that window can do.
As a consequence, there's no UI state associated with a file in Xc4, and for those of us who want to use multiple windows, we lose a lot of what makes that powerful.
