I had a similar problem with Xcode4.1/OS 10.7 that didn't occur with Xcode 3.2+/OS 10.6+
Just out of curiosity, you might want to try this with Xcode 3.
This may work under Xcode 3.
If true, then you isolated the problem to Xcode 4+.
