Xcode 4 ate my keyboard!

Anyone else seen this weird behaviour with Xcode 4. Its happened a few times to me across various builds of Xc4, but just now for the first time since GM:
After keeping Xcode open for a few hours, all of a sudden most of my keyboard stops working across all applications. What does continue to work is any key events that don't generate a character (e.g up and down arrows, Cmd-Tab, Cmd-opt-esc). But all other keyboard events get ignored (i.e normal typing, Cmd-Q etc). And when it gets into this mode, sometime mouse-clicks get lost too so it becomes impossible to save and quit. This only ever happens if Xcode is the active app and has never happened in pre-Xcode or any other app.
Before I submit a bug, I'd like to know if anyone else has seen something similar and maybe has a better inkling of what causes it.
BTW On a MacBook Pro - Late 2008
