Shortcut customizing

Hi,

i have a weird habbit i can't beat out of myself, which is the usage of
⌥⌘⇡ (command+option+up) for switching between counterparts of
source files. For many other habbits i took time to get used to all new
goodness, but this one just refuses to go.

So after hitting ⌥⌘⇡ for the 1000th time, i decided to stick with the
old habbit, just for this one shortcut. Now, i tried customize the
shortcut in the preferences (Navigation Menu For Source Code) but
for some reason the entries for "Jump to Previous/Next Counterpart"
refuse to take key-combinations that contain the option (⌥) key.
Most frustrating is the fact that only these two items exhibit this weird
behaviour. Any other entry will happlily accept the ⌥⌘⇡ combo.

I must be overlooking something.. ideas?

thanks,
arri
