That seems a strange thing to say. If you want your app in the Mac App Store, it definitely *does* affect you, since the door will be closed to non-sandboxed applications in March (it was supposed to be closed by now, but Apple postponed that event).
Moreover, where are we going with this? Will Apple some day throw a switch which says that only sandboxed apps will run on the computer?
