Yes. You can use Activity Monitor to know what's sandboxed. View > Columns > Sandbox.
Apple has only just started eating their own dogfood here, as TextEdit and Preview are the only sandboxed GUI apps.
I'd like to see Final Cut Pro and Xcode able to run in the sandbox for example...
