Crash after downloading updates

  • Subject: Crash after downloading updates

After my Xcode tried to download three updates, including the new ios5 library, it crashed. Everytime I tried to restart it it crashed, and never successfully launched. I tried reinstalling, same crash. Trashed the developer folder and reinstalled, crash. Reinstalled Lion, then Xcode. It gave me a warning when launching that it could not restore its windows. I clicked on the button "Don't Restore" and everything seemed fine. I later noticed that it had downloaded the iOS5 library again. I left it running and came back an hour later and it had crashed again. The console log shows the following error messages:

10/15/11 2:54:21.184 PM Xcode: Unable to find either a loadable database or a Nodes.xml configuration file
10/15/11 2:54:21.184 PM Xcode: Error loading docSet file://localhost/Developer/Documentation/DocSets/com.apple.ADC_Reference_Library.DeveloperTools.docset/: Error Domain=com.apple.DADocSetAccess Code=12 "Documentation set could not be read." Any clues as to this instability ?
