The gdb log will tell us what's going on but you need to file a bug with that log first.

Please add this user defaults in Terminal, relaunch Xcode, reproduce the problem and attach the log

defaults write com.apple.dt.Xcode IDEGDBLogToFile </path/to/your/file>
