Missing Text Transformation

Xcode has some nice Text transformation tools. Albeit it seems, these are more appropriate for "standard" text editors - rather than tools suitable for programming.

For instance, I would appreciate a text transformation tool, which transforms a sequence of text (in Unicode) which contains quotes, control chars and possibly escaped Unicode characters, into a C-string literal - properly escaped and quoted.

Does anybody know a tool which would accomplish this? (usable in Xcode, e.g. a fair complex regex replace, etc.)
