The takeaway I read (though I haven't done this myself) is that a fix is:
cd /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions
sudo ln -s CurrentJDK
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5
sudo ln -s CurrentJDK
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0
