Cannot use Instruments

Hello,

I 've moved to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Xcode 3.2.6 for a project. Unfortunately Shark seems to be unavailable now.
I tried to launch Instruments but it crashed:

Dyld Error Message:
  Symbol not found: _CSSymbolicatorCreateWithMachKernel
Referenced from: /Developer/Applications/Instruments.app/Contents/ MacOS/../../../../Library/PrivateFrameworks// InstrumentsPlugIn.framework/Versions/A/InstrumentsPlugIn Expected in: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ CoreSymbolication.framework/Versions/A/CoreSymbolication

Googling turned up several related postings but no clear answer.
What do I need to reinstall?
Can someone mail me a later version of CoreSymbolication.framework? Mine was created 7/9/09.

Jan E.
