Did you examine your build settings to see if this error message is in fact accurate?
I thought that "Current" would have been good enough.
The Xcode 4.4 "Base SDK" settings popup menu lists both "Current OS X" and "Latest OS X", and "Latest OS X" is definitely the one you want.
Originally, the Base SDK" field for "OS X Default" and project columns were *empty*, but indicated "Current OS X" when selected. Weird!
So I changed project-level column to "Latest OS X", built, and it worked.
Well, of course after this now it gives me a new flock of errors. See you later!
