Refer to previous thread: Xcode SPOD after upgrade the Lion 10.7.4
I'd really appreciate it if the engineers would look into this.
My choices at present seem to be limited to not upgrading to 10.7.4 or forgoing HiDPI.
Since my eyesight requires HiDPI and I've become accustomed to it that would be a bit of a blow.

Summary:
After applying the Lion 10.7.4 update and launching Xcode 4.3.3 it hangs on opening any project,
Apple's or my own, and needs to be force quitted.
Steps to Reproduce:
(0) Do a clean install of Lion and update to 10.7.4. Use just the one Admin account.
(1) Install Xcode 4.3.3 and have available a project.
(2) Launch Xcode and open any existing project (e.g. BezierPathLab)
(3) It should just work. Quit Xcode.
(4) Set your display resolution to non-native. In my case 30" Cinema set to 1280 x 800
(5) Using Quartz Debug and the UI Resolution window enable HiDPI
(6) Logout and login. Select first HiDPI resolution. In my case 1280 x 800 HiDPI
(7) Launch Xcode and open project. It will hang.
(8) Force Quit Xcode and disable HiDPI.
(9) Logout and login.
(10)Launch Xcode and open project. It opens normally.
Expected Results:
Xcode should not hang after Lion 10.7.4 update
Actual Results:
It does hang if HiDPI is enabled.
Regression:
Notes:
I am attaching an Activity Monitor Sample and the Force Quit Diagnostic log.
