I'd really appreciate it if the engineers would look into this. My choices at present seem to be limited to not upgrading to 10.7.4 or forgoing HiDPI. Since my eyesight requires HiDPI and I've become accustomed to it that would be a bit of a blow.
Have you tried Xcode 4.4 or Mountain Lion? Any reason you can't use either?
