I have a workspace in Xcode 4.2.1, with a main iOS app project, and a
few other static library projects.
The app links against three of the static libraries.
When I look at the .a files for these libraries, where they appear in
the main project, in the File Inspector, under "Identity and Type",
they have quite different entries for "Location"
1) Relative to Group "../XXXCommon/XXXZip/build/Release-iphoneos/libXXXZip.a"
Full Path
i.e. Full Path is empty.
2) Relative to Build Products "libXXXHTMLStripper.a"
Full Path "/Users/martin/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/XXXXXXX-dkhpmsldhmemawakpzzlqckcsngk/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/libXXXHTMLStripper.a"
3) Relative to Group
../../../Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/XXXXXXX-dkhcvffvocmyjkbvknxwfdtjdbbr/Build/Products/Release-iphoneos/libXXXNSOperationDownloader.a
Full Path
i.e. Full Path is empty.
The static library projects are all very similar to each other in
structure and layout (scheme, targets, configurations).
Where are the settings for each one for Location so different, and
where are they being set/derived from?
cheers,
m.
