This is irrational voodoo. The same kind of FUD lead to such untruth as "if your Mac is unstable, defragment your disk". There are a number of such unsupported-by-evidence urban legends still alive and well on the net.

Now I would agree that the relatively large number of outstanding bugs in Xcode, and the perceived "we don't care" attitude from Apple regarding them can lead to such FUD.
