Bear in mind though that devs are flocking to Apple work in pretty big numbers, so many of us may be new(ish) to the platform, so mightn't always be aware that Xcode isn't a fait accompli. I don't think it does much harm for even Apple lists to have the odd pointer to alternatives, and it would be corporately weird for that to be in the absence of criticism (" I love Xcode so much, I'm using make and ed!"). But it's obviously counter-productive to rant and repeat. Tone matters.
