Well,
I have a black core2duo MacBook bought in February of 2007. It came with Tiger. Came with Xcode that supported both ppc and intel development. I also have a G4 Mini bought a year earlier. It came with Tiger too, but the Xcode on it was ppc only. I remember installing Xcode on that Mini later in 2007 or early next year from the dvd that came with the MacBook and that version is still on that Mini.
