My Mileage varies indeeed. I code quite happily on single-monitor setups in Xc4s single-window layout. On my dual-monitor setup, usually Xcode Windows stay on one screen, the other is reserved for other stuff

Xcode 4 is not as reliable as we would like it to be, and I swear at it occasionally when it crashes and does other silly things. But I still belive Xc4 is a step in the right direction.
