Thanks for the info, Tito (and others).
I don't even know where to begin condemning this wretched and irresponsible OS design. I now have no idea what fixes that I worked for hours or days on were removed or half-removed from my code, leaving bugs or behavior that I swore I'd fixed.
This is absolutely unforgivable. I never gave Xcode permission to participate in this asinine file-versioning debacle. Just like I've told the OS that I don't want previous documents re-opened by apps, only to have Safari and Grab disregard this EVERY TIME, and Preview disregard it at random intervals.
And NO, Apple, I DON'T want to reopen windows when I restart the computer. EVER. So STOP RESETTING THAT BOX.
But first and foremost, DO NOT MESS WITH OUR DOCUMENTS.
