> Yes, there are several Apple employees on the list, such as Joar and Greg. If you like you can search the list archives for @apple.com emails. There are probably a lot more that lurk, because a very easy way to get in trouble at Apple is to say the wrong thing in a public forum (it happened to me many times.)
Or in a private forum. Apple employees in developer tools have to be very careful what they say, even internally. You won't find any of them uttering anything against Xcode 4, for example, because it's been made very clear that internal dissent will not be tolerated. It's one of the reasons I left.
It's also why most Apple employees won't touch any thread that hints at heightened emotions, flaming or baiting, or that generally just isn't a purely technical issue. The recent spate of pleas and appeals aren't necessarily falling on deaf ears, but they're not going to get responses (other than, at best, "file a bug"), and the people hearing them aren't in a position to do much about them.
I'm not sure what the winning strategy will turn out to be, but plausible ones include the various DIY approaches - look at AppCode, for example, or other alternative IDEs. Submit patches directly to llvm.org and let them percolate into Apple from underneath. Not everyone's in a position to contribute in these ways, I know, but nonetheless they're effective.
