What's next?
How about Xcode pasting text incorrectly? This happens when the text you want to paste is copied from a rectangular selection.

I know Xcode isn't trying to be a particularly advanced text editor, but… no replace in selection?
What next? No undo?

So you're saying, copy and paste the text you want into a new document in a text editor and do a global search and replace, huh?

I know this used to be possible, but I can't find it in Xcode 4's UI. In Xcode 3, when you brought up the replace dialog and held option, replace all became replace in
selection. Is there an equivalent mechanism in Xcode 4?
No. It's an astonishing omission.
So astonishing that when I called it out as an annoyance in Xcode 4 Unleashed, I future-proofed myself by advising the reader to check the version he's running to see if the feature had returned. I have a very hard time believing it's going to stay that
way, even though Xcode 4 has kept us waiting for more than a year.
