Xcode 4.3 does show the call stack, just like all other versions. You can even view by thread or by dispatch queue. The UI is in the “Debug” navigator pane.

It would help if someone who isn’t getting this could describe in more detail what goes wrong. Just “doesn’t show call stack” is kind of hard to diagnose.
