Sorry, I was showing my ignorance in this subject. I haven't had time (and thankfully the need) to use the debugger in a while.
The Debug Navigator does not show nearly as much of the call stack as a bt at the console does. Perhaps I have not setup the debug environ right. But, so far it has not been high on the priority list, so I just ignore it and bt has worked enough just to see an occasional peak.
