I have seen this. My solution was to place the icons out at the root of the project (where the .xcodeproj file lives).
Worked fine for me after that. I've seen the exact same warning.

Now it's not letting me set an icon for our app, and indeed in some cases (like the beta we posted on TestFlight) the app simply has no icon. However, it does have an icon when launched on the phone from Xcode.
We have a perfectly good icon.png and email@hidden files in Resources, right along with Default.png and email@hidden (which work fine).
If I try to set the icons using the Summary tab on the target, look at this BS:
Yes, Xcode is complaining that the icon file must have the name that it already has.
Has anyone else seen this? What's the workaround? I'd assume that I could go into the project file and manually enter the name of the icon file, but "icon.png" is the default!
