Thanks Joar,
That was spot on.
> As far as Mac OS X 10.6 goes, make sure that you have all software updates installed - in particular the recently released update to the installer.
I installed on 10.6.8 no problem.

I thought:
I can run 3.2.5 on Mac OS 10.7.3 without problems. (I keep it in /Developer. I keep 4.3.2 in ~/Applications)
I cannot install it (nor 3.2.6) though….
So I started the iMac in target mode linked to the 10.6.8 and the installer was happy to oblige.
3.2.6 is happily running on the iMac Lion 10.7.3 without a glitch…. so far :)
To Alex Zavatone:
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
However what you said unfortunately was not much help to me.
I understood that you did know what the message meant but chose not to tell me.
I assure you that I am not in the habit of asking for help before I tried everything I can to solve my problems.
You asked:
> Did you read that error message?
Yes I did. (In my message I say that I tried to solve the problem by cutting the part of the installation that was reported as "untrusted" )
> You might want to read it a little closer.
When you do not understand something I believe you can read it as many times as you like with the same result.
Have you thought that I could be unexperienced and that you could have helped in a more positive way instead?
