Really? It hasn't worked that way for me since 3.x. Steps:
- Product > Run
- my app launches
- quit my app cleanly
- immediately do Product > Run (it take 15 seconds for my app to swoosh into the dock)
- quit my app cleanly
- immediately do Product > Perform Action > Run without Building (it takes 2 seconds)
This is on a MacPro5,1, 16 GB RAM, and a RAID0. Xcode 4.5.1.
