assistant editors at *bottom*. I said *bottom*!

Every time I use Xcode 4.5 I have to tell it again that I want assistant editors on the bottom, not the right - even for projects where I've told it this before. Didn't this setting use to be "sticky"? Shouldn't this be either sticky or a pref? m.
