SplitView opens wrong

I have two WebViews on top of each other in a SplitView.
The SplitView saves it's position correctly:
Item 0: 0.000000, 0.000000, 443.000000, 72.000000, NO
Item 1: 0.000000, 82.000000, 443.000000, 497.000000, NO
But when I quit and restart my app, the top part of the SplitView is collapsed to zero height.
What am I doing wrong?
Further observations:
When both parts are about the same, they keep their position.
If one part is kind of small, it will be collapsed on reopen.
If the top has a height of 204 or less, it reopens collapsed.
If the top has a height of 247 it reopens with a height of 139.
Using auto layout. Xcode 4.5.1, 10.8.2
