But he didn’t say “build for iPhone 5”, he said “build to an iOS 6 device”. That’s not the same thing.
But the answer’s the same — Xcode 4.4 didn’t want to connect to my iPhone anymore after I upgraded it to the iOS 6 beta, so I had to get 4.5. Fortunately I haven’t found any regressions.
