Xcode 4.5.2, Mac OS X 10.8.2
I have a project controlled by Subversion. When I try to view it in the Comparison view, the Time Machine view in the middle gutter shows no revisions. The popups below the editors do list the previous revisions, but if I select one, a sheet appears after a few seconds:
========
The file “gk5YZ9Pg-trunk” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it.
To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info.
========
So there is no way to get a side-by-side comparison of the revisions.
No file by that name exists, according to the find command, and I'm sure it would do no good to fool with the permissions on a temporary file it it did. The Xcode Blame view works as expected. "svn diff" on the command line works as expected.
The Log view does not show any log entries for (apparently) files that had remote revisions. The logs in the Repositories organizer are correct.
Xcode is providing me very little of the promised benefits from its whizzy source-control support. Is there a way to talk it into working for me?
