This change was not intended. We'll release an update to revert to the previous behavior.

Now, it's not asking me my developer's password anymore but the pages from the 6.1 doc set don't look exactly like the same pages from the 6.0 documentation set. If you enable the 2 sets in the search and search for something like NSDictionary, the version from the 6.1 doc set doesn't contain the details that you usually find at the top like "Inherits from", "Conforms to", etc. Maybe that's the new documentation design? I liked those quick "facts" at the top but now I'm not having them with the 6.1 "doc set". And mine on disk now occupies 714.5 MB, so it seems it's fully downloaded.

Something called com.apple.adc.documentation.AppleiOS6.1.iOSLibrary.docset did get downloaded into the Xcode bundle, but it's tiny, and when I try to go to an actual page, we go out on the Web and I have to log in with my developer id. What's going on? Thx - m.
