Is the force_load flag still necessary?

  • Subject: Is the force_load flag still necessary?

I recall reading somewhere that in a recent Xcode release (4.5?) that the older linker problem with libraries containing Objective-c class categories was fixed, and thus the all_load and force_load linker directives are no longer required.
Is this true or did I just imagine it?

Thanks, David

PS: there was a post on this by Roland King Nov 8th 2012 but it was never conclusively responded to.
