I see what you mean, Sean. I have some of those "Default - data" File Types in one of my projects. However, if I simply drag a file with no file extension/suffix into the project, its File Type gets set to "Default - data". So apparently the workaround is to just close your eyes and add them?
I'd hope that the File Type does not matter other than for aesthetic purposes, as long as the type is one that Xcode does not have a rule to try and compile. They should be blindly copied to your product, I hope.
