Thanks for the reply, Michael. At one point project templates could
also exist in ~/Library. I had a custom one to generate static
libraries for the phone (since Apple still inexplicably doesn't have
this). This was separate from the stock ones, and is not the one I
selected for my new framework. I have since deleted that template
anyway.
I also searched Library, ~/Library, and the Xcode app bundle for files
containing "apple.product-type.framework.static". It appears only in
the Xcode app bundle, which I just installed from the GM seed. So no
tampering there, and I have no idea where it's getting this erroneous
spec.
